Day 4 – Advent Calendar Nail Challenge

Today, we are doing a SILVER theme!

It’s been a while since I pulled out my Nfu Oh holo polishes for a mani – I had almost forgotten how breathtaking they are.  Really, the best holographic nail polish I own.  This one is NFU 61 (I wonder why they don’t give their polishes names?)

I did actually try and do more then just the silver holographic.  I taped diagonally.and polished with Nfu Oh GS09 Silver holographic glitter….and surprise, surprise – it didn’t show up very well.  D’uh me.

Day 3 – Advent Calendar Nail Challenge

Today’s theme:  Green!

One of my very favorite nail polishes in my collection, is the stunning green holographic Reclaim by Nubar.  As much as I wanted to do a straight up green Reclaim mani, I thought I should add at least a little something extra.  So, after two coats of Nubar’s Reclaim (and then admiring it for an afternoon out) I came back and added some scotch tape stripes and polished over with Color Club Ho Ho Holly.

And just because I love this green as well, I’ve added a photo of another green nail polish.  A smooth, satiny, matte green polish by Revlon, called Emerald City,

December Advent Calendar Nail Challenge…

This challenge, in my opinion – will be extra challenging :)   Which is why, I have no idea what I have decided to get myself into!  I have a 5 year old’s birthday party to arrange, my own 39th birthday to deal with (I thought 29 was bad!!), my husbands birthday AND Christmas!!

I have never done a nail challenge before, and had been looking into a few floating around the beauty blogs  – and came across this one on Nailpolishgalore.

It is a slight variation to some others I have seen out there, and I can already imagine what I would do for some of these daily challenges….so….this is it!

Would anyone else like to join me?
